I came from Manchester to visit Dr. Michael (in his Riverview clinic) last week and took with him seven continuous sessions daily, during a week. Dr. Michael listened to me when I explained my problem to him in detail.
I suffer from pain in the back, shoulders and hands along with a headache with ringing in the ears and rapid heart rate during sleep and sometimes I suffer from something like an electric shock inside my body.
Dr. Michael has helped me a lot with his great experience, he used different techniques such as deep massage, using laser, electrotherapy, radio waves and many of the techniques available in his clinic. I noticed the difference from the second session. The pain has decreased significantly, especially headache and back pain, I used to wake up twice at night because of chest pain and rapid heart rate, but now it is much less and I can sleep until morning without pain.
I am really grateful to Dr. Michael a lot, and I appreciate his support and assistance, and his great treatment and his work with me during seven days, especially during the weekend.

Michael is wonderful and so knowledgeable. He is a good listener and uses various techniques to get my body into shape. So grateful as I can finally wake up pain free!
After pregnancy and c-section I had big problem with lower back problem, very sore neck and dealing with very painful carpal tunnel syndrome.
After the first session, I could already feel some major progress finally. I tried a few other things before finding Riverview clinic, such as physio and other acupuncturist, but nothing was working on long term…my pains were always coming back...
Now I can see the end of the tunnel and hope for full recovery very soon. I have only done 4 sessions so I think a few more to get rid of tightness, I can come back to some of my physical activities.

Mike is the Jewel in Cornwalls crown, this man’s knowlege and understanding of what treatment would benefit you the most is amazing, he has the rare grace of listening to you, and I mean listening to you, he’s not out to sell you lotions and potions or to make as much money out of you as he can like so many do. You are not rushed and everything is explained to you.
It was by chance that I found Mike who has been helping my husband with the terrible pain he has been in. If anyone can help to get you pain free it is this guy.
So…if you want the best, forget the rest, Mike is your man!

I have been using Michael for a number of years now, and with all the sport I play and the type of job I do, I get to see Michael a little more than I’d like. But I can honestly say if it wasn’t for the knowledge and care he has, there is no way I could carry on the way I do. Every time I have visited Michael for treatment he has taken the time to explain how and what I have damaged. Always putting me at ease and fixing me. It actually turns out to be a visit I look forward to, which is strange when you’re in pain, but it just shows the trust I have in him and what a pleasure it is, not only to be treated by him but to get to have a chat too. There has been so many times where I have thought I would not be able to sort the injury ready for a game or to continue training, although he has never ceased to amaze me. I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you and to recognise what a truly great job Michael does.

Dear Sirs,
RE: Riverview Clinic
Several months ago I started to experience some pain in my right elbow. This condition steadily worsened until such time it was preventing me from hindering me from carrying out my duties. Several people diagnosed my condition and informed me I would need a cortisone injection.
Rather than take the advice of these self appointed doctors I made an appointment with Michael at his clinic. After an initial medical questionairre Michael diagnosed the condition and more importantly explained (with the help of his mute assistant bones) exactly what had happened and how to treat the condition. Several appointments and “wandango” treatments later I no longer feel the pain in my elbow.
It is refreshing to visit a medical professional and receive plain plain and precise information and actually receive the treatment you need immediately.
I will now recommend Michaels services to everyone without hesitation.

My wife and I visited Michael Mew of Riverview Clinics today regarding her long term back problem and disability.
We had previously provided Michael with a copy of her extensive MRI scan. Michael took the time to study these scans and the attached radiologist reports prior to our appointment and unlike the NHS doctors was willing to take the time to sit down and explain in detail the report and its associated scans.
The sign of a true healthcare professional is when they put the patient welfare at as their top priority, do not try and profit from their patient’s condition and don’t make false promises as to what they can achieve for their patients. Michael exceeded in each.

After our initial consultation, you suggested I had an MRI scan, which is something my regular GP thought was completely unnecessary.
You proved to be 100% right and my GP 100% wrong, and following this scan, you have successfully diagnosed the problem. With your considerate care, skill and patient attention, I can now get through the day without having to resort to so much medication.
Before I consulted you, I had been suffering with my condition evey day for eight months. Now, the condition is consistenly improving. For the first time I can now see that I have a prospect of a complete recovery.

I originally accompanied my wife for her treatment at Riverview Clinics and during the conversation with Michael Mew I mentioned stiffness in my neck. This was the result of whiplash during a car accident 8 years ago and my GP advised me it would not improve. Michael was not so sure and suggested I book an appointment.
Michael’s approach is ‘whole body’ and started with a thorough physical examination and medical hisory where it became apparent that the lower back pain which I regularly suffered was actually caused by the non-painful stiff neck.
As a fully qualified Musculoskeletal Therapist Michael’s medical knowledge is excellent and this is accompanied by a reassuring ‘bedside manner’ which instils condidence in his abilities.
